Yesterday was the evening of Beaujolais nouveau's "arrival" all over France.
As I wrote last year at this time, local vins primeurs are making significant inroads in the festivities. Around here, that means drinking new wines from the Gaillac wine-producing area.
This year, we missed the "official" Beaujolais kick-off, but tonight we are celebrating...with a Gaillac primeur.
