Third day in Provence

May we invite you to visit with us Le Castellet?Today we visited this feodal village perched on top of a hill that can be seen from the distance. No cars are allowed in the town; its narrow streets, stone houses, and beautiful view, make it one of the must-see attractions in Provence. We strolled in its empty streets, enjoying the winter scenery - and the total absence of visitors! How selfishly enjoyable!

The 15th century chateau houses today the town hall, and from one of the arched openings we enjoyed the panoramic view of the Massif of the Sainte Baume as well as the vineyards of the Bandol wines.

In a shop that sold local pastries, I bought 1/2 lb of anis canistrelli a local biscuit that is a marvellous all time snack.
