I have just spent a restful three-days weekend at The Cowper Inn in Palo Alto, a place I highly recommend! Joji, the owner and manager, is kind, helpful, and always in a good mood. She chats with the clients who enjoy talking and respects those who prefer to stay in a quiet corner. The living room is large, full of light, and it has very comfortable sitting. Books and magazines, as well as the NYT and Wall Street newspapers are ready available.
Breakfast is a delight, with fresh organic yogurt, fruit, fruit juice, English muffins, alls sorts of bread, and more!
I loved the city of Palo Alto, University Avenue and the many chic shops, the international restaurants, Borders (where, of course, I bought books). And most of all, the beautiful weather.
