Tea Cup Bird Feeder

On Saturday, Tall and Handsome and I attended the 7th annual St. Stephen Episcopal Church Cemetery Fund tea. I'll tell you more about that later this week (and share pictures of the most extraordinary tablescapes!), but today I wanted to show you what one hostess gave to each lady at her table: A Tea Cup Bird Feeder.

The tea set and little organza bag were purchased on sale. She glued the mug to the plate (with the appropriate glue), filled the organza bag with birdseed, and attached this poem:

Your feathered friends could use a rest
A dainty teacup would be the best
A cup of water
A plate of seed
A tiny perch is all they need
A pretty spot surrounded with flowers
And you'll be entertained for hours and hours

Each set was a different "animal" print, and I think she said were purchased at Michaels. Adorable!
