During this lazy weekend at Saint-Denis sur Loire we stayed at Villa Medicis, a delightful Bed & Breakfast located at 1, rue Medicis. The place had a hot sping where Catherine of Medicis came to take waters. Later on, there was a hotel built around the concept of the thermal waters. It is now a bed and breakfast where you will find charming hospitality.
Owner Ms Muriel CABIN-SAINT-MARCEL came out of her way, with extreme discretion and savoir faire, to make our stay a pleasant one. The berakfast table sets your mood for the day as colors are harmonious and flowers everywhere. Home made preserves, croissants, fresh baguette, cheese, yogurt .. and more, plus the tradition coffee or tea.
If you like tea, you will be able to make your choice (or maybe not!) among all the jars yu see in the picture above: each one has a different type of herbal tea or tea!!
