My Paris deck has plant pots a plenty. Sometimes little birds find them comfortable enough to nest, like this one in the picture. But since I come and go pretty often, they end up finding me too intrusve for them to stay. 
However, one of the side windows of my Paris flat is my "green house". This is where I grow seeds, keep plant pots, and shelter some plants in winter ... I do not open the window that often ..
So this is exactly where a pigeon decided to lay two eggs back around March 10 ... Now belive me, I do not like pigeons in Pais: they turn out to be very expensive when it comes to cleaning the facades of the buildings .. but what could I do with those two eggs???? You guess, I just left them there. I pulled the drapes to give it intimacy and waited ...
Nature gave pigeons patience and for over three weeks it stayed well sheltered on my plant pot, accepting my occasional intrusions in her life - or the intrusions of my camera lense.A few days before Easter the two baby pigeons broke the shell! They have been growing pretty quickly. Mother pigeon leaves now the nest for hours in search of food. 
They are not very pretty ... but here they are for you to see. Sorry Mister Mayor ....
