Geometrical!

Class participants had enjoyed a cooking atelier inspired by Le Corbusier, which was followed by a tour to the Le Corbusier Foundation in Paris.
The table for our meal was set having geometry and shapes in mind: black tablecloth, with a Chinese style runner. I chose red square plates, smaller plates were round with a Chinese Qing turquoise based pattern. I used Japanese "pose couteaux" (the little porcelain ovals where the knives rest), large Daum crystal water tumblers, and one wine glass.
Two white candle holders topped with large red candles and a South African red and black basket had fresh hazelnuts and walnuts.
Bon appetit!
